Gerald Wayne Staggs
March 19, 1949 - April 27, 2024

Gerald Wayne Staggs, 75, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on April 27, 2024. He was born on March 19, 1949 to Alfred and Martha Staggs. Gerald enjoyed fishing, going to the dog tracks in Memphis, and entertaining the woman by singing “I’m in the mood for love.” Survivors include; a host of friends and family who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by; his parents; wife: Joyce Staggs; three sisters: Yvonnye, Uvonnye, Barbara; and one brother: Eugene. A graveside service will be held on Friday May 10, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Caraway Cemetery in Caraway, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating.

    Oh the stories you have told me over the years, even tried to claim my sister as your kid when she was born. My mom wanted to kill you. Lol. I will never forget you saying it in front of a bunch of guys at the Kwik Shop, you kept me laughing when I worked at the gas station, never knew what you had to say from day to day.
