Maria Magdalena Hart, 81, of Monette, Arkansas passed away at Lakeside Nursing Center on March 11, 2024. She was born on April 15, 1942 in La Feria, Texas to Eluterio and Braulia (Perez) Ybarra. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include; one son: Mark Hart of Monette, Arkansas; two daughters: Billie Bankston of Monette, Arkansas and Laura Carmichael (Jonathan) of Black Oak, Arkansas; ten grandchildren: Nicholas Willyerd, Valerie Hagler, Destiny Groves, Daniel Carmichael, Alan Carmichael, Maria Hart, Jona Carmichael, Molly Hart, Maggie Hart, Madison Hart; several great grandchildren; one sister: Manuela Ybarra of Indio, California; two brothers: Jesus Ybarra of La Feria, Texas and Eluterio Ybarra of La Feria, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. She is preceded in death by; her parents; her husband: Billy Lee Hart; two children: Paul Hart and Virginia Gail Smithee; two grandchildren: Nathan Ray Smithee and Brandy Nicole Smithee; two brothers: Roy “Rudy” Olivarez and Guadalupe Olivarez; and one sister: San Juana Ybarra. The family will receive visitors at New Hope Baptist Church in Black Oak, Arkansas on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the church with pastor Heath Hawkins and Jon Carmichael officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Macey Cemetery in Monette, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Pallbearers: Alan Carmichael, Nick Willyerd, Peyton Arnold, Trenton Willyerd-Hagler, Curtis Henderson, and Wesley Hagler. Honorary Pallbearers: Daniel Carmichael, Lonnie Smithee, Mike Burgess, Valerie Hagler, Destiny Groves, Maria Hart, Molly Hart, Maggie Hart, Jona Carmichael, and Madison Hart.

    I worked with Ms. Maria at my first "real" job out of high school, at Basler electric. I know she absolutely wanted to shake the life out of me and my girl Kelly for always singing My Maria to her all the time. Lol.We made her laugh all the time being goofy, and she would always just smile and nod at us. Bless her heart she was so patient and she was so sweet to us girls. Rest in God.

    She was such a Kind person. I remember growing up around her and Her and my mother Sandra Gray was friends.
