Mark Lyle Gattis
September 29, 1966 - February 28, 2024

Mark Lyle Gattis, 57, of Hornersville, Missouri passed away at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital on February 28, 2024. He was born on September 29, 1966 in Kennett, Missouri to Fairl and Linda (Birmingham) Gattis. Mark was a Christian. He enjoyed restoring antique trucks, doing auto mechanic work, tractor mechanic work, going to antique car and truck shows, and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include; parents: Fairl and Linda (Birmingham) Gattis of Hornersville, Missouri; one son: Matthew Gattis Taylor; one daughter: Stacy Cowan; many grandchildren; two sisters: Elisa Johnson (Wayne) of Hornersville, Missouri and Melinda Smith (Brian) of Kennett, Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews; family dog: Benji; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by; his grandparents: Fairl Gattis, Sr., Lola Gattis, and Audie Bass. A private burial will be held for the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
