Dear Carolyn, Heath, Bryan:  I know well the pain of losing both a husband & father in death and the hole it leaves in life. How many times I have wanted to pick up the phone and call my Dad, but AT&T doesn’t cover that call…. But Almighty God does! When Jesus was on earth he performed numerous resurrections, awakening people from death, as easily as you would wake up a sleeping child. (Luke 7:12 – 15; John 11:17 – 27 & 38 – 44; Luke 8:41, 42 & 49 – 56). In fact, in the forgoing Bible verses Jesus repeatedly likens death to sleep. Jesus, having been given ‘all authority in heaven and on earth’ (Matthew 28:18) will soon exercise his authority over death by raising our loved ones back to life here on earth just as easily as you would awaken a sleeping child. (Acts 24:15 & John 5:28, 29)….. This is a promise from Almighty God, who does not lie (Titus 1:2).

Thinking of all of you with sweet memories of a great spirited man of much worth. He truly loved his wife, his sons, and grandchildren just a soft spoken spirit whom enjoyed spending time wetting a line in a favorite fishing spot. He will be greatly missed and love will always remain in the hearts of those who loved you, Poppy.
