Dorothy Ann Miller

Dorothy Ann Miller, 72, of Caruthersville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 23, 1945 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Robert and Frances Waller Lewis. She was a member of Jesus Name Tabernacle Church and she enjoyed being on Facebook and playing POGO and spending time with family and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Arshad and Physician Assistant Linda Tai.Survivors include; three daughters: Betty Cossey (Donald) of Caruthersville, Missouri, Denise Short (Dewayne) of Independence, Louisiana, and Robin Miller of Caruthersville, Missouri; four brothers: John Wayne Lewis, Sr. of St. Louis, Missouri, William Don Lewis of Fenton, Missouri, Dennis Lewis of Caruthersville, Missouri, and Randy Lewis of Osceola, Arkansas; nine grandchildren: Michelle Walker, Michael M. Parrott, Derek Short, Dakota Short, Destiny Smith, Taylor Gartner, Ciera Ellis, Austin Sneed, and Cameron Ellis; ten great-grandchildren and one due in February; two special daughters: Lisa Schoolcraft and Renee Green both of Caruthersville, Missouri; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; step-father: William Grovero; one brother: Calvin Lee Lewis, Sr.; and two nephews: John Wayne Lewis, Jr. and Jeffery Bollinger.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jesus Name Tabernacle Church with Bishop John Stepp, Rev. Richard Lee, and Rev. Jeremy Damesworth officiating. Burial will follow at Little Prairie Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Friday at the church from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
