Lawrence Wayne Fletcher

Lawrence Wayne Fletcher, 76 passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at his home in Caraway, Arkansas. He was born June 29, 1941 in Black Oak, Arkansas to Alston Jewell and Margaret Whitley Fletcher. He was on the Caraway Volunteer Fire Department, School Board, City Council, Board of Directors for the Housing Authority and a Scout Leader. Survivors include his wife: Sharon Fletcher of Caraway, Arkansas; five sons: Don Fletcher, Anthony Fletcher both of Caraway; Shannon Kelems (Susan) of Caraway Jason Kelems( Stacy) of Lepanto; Christopher Kelems (Jennifer) of Caraway; one daughter: Alison McFarlin (Steve) of Caraway; one sister: Glenna Brickell (Charles Wayne) of Caraway; Grandchildren: Dustin Fletcher, Cassie Sheppard; Hunter Fletcher, Bradley Fletcher, Morgan Fletcher, Amber Fletcher; Michael Summers, Jennifer Saffel, Britany Kelems, Courtney Kelems, Ryan Kelems, Jacob Kelems, Timothy Tyler, Seth Tyler; several great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two granddaughters: Hannah Michelle Kelems and Bailey Delayne Kelems. Funeral services will be Friday, October 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Caraway, Arkansas with Bro. Rick Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Caraway Cemetery. The family will receive visitors, Thursday October 19, 2017 from 6-8 pm at the church. Pallbearers: Shannon Kelems, Christopher Kelems, Jason Kelems, Steve McFarlin, Don Fletcher, Anthony Fletcher; Honorary pallbearers: Caraway Volunteer Fire Department, Jerry Murphy, Charles Faulkner, Chuck Gean, Larry Sanders, Gary Toombs, James Toombs, Mike Brickell.
