Harold Keith Taylor

Harold Keith Taylor, 82, of Lake City, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Lakeside Nursing Home. He was born on March 9, 1935 in Craighead County to the late Rupert and Lola Reed Taylor. He was a Deacon and Song Leader at the Refuge General Baptist Church in Lake City, Arkansas, a lifelong area resident, and he enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. He was an Army Veteran where he served as a Field Switchboard Operator and he was the main pitcher for the Tomahawks. Survivors include; his wife of 57 years: Peggy Sue Taylor of Lunsford, Arkansas; one son Lance Taylor (Jennifer) of Bay, Arkansas; one brother: Donald Taylor of California; two grandchildren: Kelby Taylor (Tyler) of Lunsford, Arkansas and Chole Taylor of Bay, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; one brother: Nolan Taylor. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Refuge General Baptist Church in Lake City with Bro. Craig Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Lake City Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Lance Taylor, Harvey Edward Faulkner, Jake Gilley, Sam Lee, Tyler Newcom, and Darrell Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers: A. C. Daniel, Dannie McFarland, Pat Bader, Joe Andrea, Sonny and Christine Coy, Oma Weeks, Kathy Roberson, Leamon Lee, and John Allison.
