Wanda Kay Smith

Wanda Kay Smith, 61, of Manila, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She was born on September 15, 1956 in Monette, Arkansas to Harlan and Mary Wilkey Dunlap. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Manila for over thirty years, a graduate of Manila High School, an ASU graduate with a BS in early childhood development, taught at Manila Public Schools for over twenty-five years, loved to sing, enjoyed the theater, loved attending church and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include; her mother: Mary Kis of Manila, Arkansas: one daughter: Heather Thorn and husband Karl of Leachville, Arkansas; one grandson: Koby Thomas of Leachville, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends.She was preceded in death by; her father: Harlan Dunlap; and one daughter: Tiffany Adams.Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Assembly of God in Manila, Arkansas with Pastor James Chipman and Rev. Curtis Warren officiating. Burial will follow at the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
