WC Armstrong

Mr. W.C. Armstrong, 76, of Black Oak, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at NEA Baptist Hospital. Mr. Armstrong was born on October 9, 1939 in Black Oak, Arkansas to the late Marvin and Lorene Wait Armstrong. Mr. Armstrong was a member of the Black Oak Church of Christ, retired from the United States Air Force and Colson Casters, and enjoyed farming for Finch farms. Survivors include; his wife of 42 years: Carolyn Polly Armstrong of the home; one son: Rich Armstrong and wife Suzy of Paragould, Arkansas; two brother-in-laws: John Kisner of Black Oak, Arkansas and Joe Tallent of Franklin, North Carolina; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; two sisters: Myrna Kisner and Ellen Tallent. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Black Oak Church of Christ with Mr. Eddie Dunigan officiating. The family request private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Lung Society or charity of your choice.
