David Emmons

Mr. David Lee Emmons, age 66 of Ravenden, Arkansas, passed away October 27, 2015 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born January 6, 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee he was the son of the late Marvin Lee and Sallie Jo Gray Emmons. He was a United States Army Veteran, a member of the First Baptist Church in Ravenden, Arkansas and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and his beloved dog Rambo. He is survived by sons: David Keith Emmons and Dustin Lee Brickell both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Marvin Ray Emmons and wife Peggy of Green Forest, Arkansas and Walter Alan Emmons and wife Donna of Marion, Arkansas; two sisters: Beverly Faye Slusser and husband Eddie of Memphis, Tennessee and Bobbie F. Barnett and husband Dale of Ravenden, Arkansas; one grandson: Tyler Austin Emmons of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Emmons also leaves a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Marvin Lee and Sallie Jo Gray Emmons; one sister: Annette Denise Emmons. A memorial service will be Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 12:00pm at the family farm. Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.
