Juanita Carlene Parker

Mrs. Juanita Carlene Parker, age 87 of Cherokee Village, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the White River Medical Center in Batesville, Arkansas. Born February 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Carl Calvin and Nancy Lucille Goldman Nance and was a member of the Paragould Church of God. Mrs. Parker enjoyed reading her bible and watching tv. She is survived by two sisters: Janeth Weaver and husband Johnny of Paragould and Barbara Peterson and husband Jack of Paragould; a sister-in-law: Jackie Nance of Paragould; nieces and nephews: Teresa Woodson of Cherokee Village, Connie Harrelson of Arizona, Terry Nance of Paragould, Dennis Nance of Georgia, Rodney Weaver of Paragould and Wayne Weaver of Paragould. Mrs. Parker also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Doyle Nance, Billy Joe Nance and Harold Nance; and one sister: Geneva Walker Funeral services will be Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 11:00am at the Paragould Church of God with Pastor Patrick Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in the New Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:00am until service time at the church.
