Roger Kenneth Darnell, Sr.

Roger Kenneth Darnell, Sr., 66 of Paragould, Arkansas passed away November 2, 2017 at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. He was born May 31, 1951 in Helena, Arkansas to Thomas Luther and Dolly Summerhill Darnell. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, Razorback football, and he loved his pets dearly. Survivors include; his wife: Judy Darnell of Paragould, Arkansas; three children: Roger Darnell, Jr. of Byhalia, Mississippi; Sarah Darnell of Paragould, Arkansas; Mikaela Darnell of Paragould, Arkansas; two grandchildren: Deena Darnell and Dawson Darnell both of Wynne, Arkansas and a host of other family and friends. Roger was preceded in death by his parents: Dolly Summerhill Burt; Robert Burt and T.L. Darnell. Funeral Service will be Monday, November 6, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Walcott, Arkansas with Bro. Greg Rainwater and Bro. Sam Poe officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church Monday, November 6, 2017 at 12:30 pm until time for service. Pall bearers: Orville Freeman, Edwin Ford, Scotty Mallard, Tyler Chaffin, Nick Mallard, Lynn White; Honorary pallbearers: Mike Snyder, Pete Summerhill.
