Scotty Ray Damon

Scotty Ray Damon, 40, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee departed this life November 2, 2017. He was born June 7, 1977 in Paragould, Arkansas to Larry and Barbara Dixon Damon.During his youth, Scotty was a member of the Ridgecrest High School JROTC and a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He graduated from Ridgecrest High School in Paragould, Arkansas in 1995.He continued throughout adulthood to enjoy camping and other outdoor activities. Computer gaming was a favorite pastime. Scotty had become an excellent cook even recently telling his mother that he had learned to make gravy. Scotty had a kind heart always willing to help anyone which started at an early age when in first grade he gave his balloon to a little girl in his class who was crying because she had lost her balloon.After living most of his life in Northeast Arkansas and the Missouri bootheel, his most recent residence was in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.Scotty Damon is survived by his wife Constance Ball Damon of Arbyrd, Missouri; three sons: Kristofer, Jacob, and Ashton Damon all of Paragould, Arkansas; his parents: Larry and Barbara Dixon Damon of Paragould, Arkansas; one sister Stephanie Stone and husband Michael of Brookland, Arkansas; three nephews: Caden, Micah, and Braxton Stone all of Brookland, Arkansas; one niece: Reagan Ball of Jonesboro, Arkansas; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.Scotty is preceded in death by; his maternal grandparents: Raymond and Mildred Dixon; and his paternal grandparents: Robert and Francis Damon.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Browns Chapel Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas with Bro. Royce Boling officiating. Burial will follow at Finch Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
