Troy Edward Maynard

Troy Edward Maynard, 77 of Brookland passed away peacefully, surrounded by his daughters and special friend, Mrs. Irene Henley, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House on Thursday, November 9, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Brookland and was of the Baptist faith. He retired from General Electric in Jonesboro in 1995 as a machinist. He served his country as a military police officer in the United States Army from 1958-1960, being stationed overseas in Germany. He loved to visit with friends and family over a cup of coffee and was always ready for a good game of dominos. Troy was preceded in death by his wife: Ann Maynard; grandson: Stanley Cline II; his parents; two brothers; four sisters. Survivors include his former wife of twenty seven years: Erma Maynard Scott and their three daughters from that union; Denise (Greg) Grinder of Eads, TN.; Sondra (Richard) Cline of Bono, AR.; Lynette (Dennis) Hattenhauer of Paragould, AR.; one brother: Sam Maynard of Cleveland, TN.; one sister: Juanita Maynard of Tampa, FL.: grandchildren: Troy (Angel) Cline; Abby (Alex) Ramirez; Dylan Hattenhauer; Natalie (Tryson) Lindley; Devin (Elise) Hattenhauer; four great grandchildren: Noah; Aria; Luke; Gabe and a host of other family and friends. A private family memorial service will be held at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, AR. under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
