Christopher James Cornette

Christopher James Cornette, Jr., 37, of Marmaduke, Arkansas passed from this life on November 18, 2017. He was born April 25, 1980 in Paragould. Chris enjoyed spending time with his children, friends, and family. He loved to arrowhead hunt with his cousin Jeff. One of his favorite past times was welding. Chris was known for making others around him laugh. Survivors include; his wife: Jennifer of fifteen years; five children: Karen Cornette, Emily Cornette, Olivia Cornette, Gannon Cornette, and Sara Cornette; one grandchild: Adilyne Cornette, all of the home; his mother: Nora Farmer of Marmaduke; two sisters: Tonya Alsup (Richard Weatherspoon) of Rector, Arkansas; and Heather Cornette (Jeremy Parrish) of Paragould; two brothers: Robert Baker (Erma) of Jonesboro; and Bobby Cornette (Taylor) of Loves Park, Illinois; one niece: Elizabeth Anne Cornette; four nephews: Brandon Alsup, Alex Walker, Ethan Walker, and Liam Henry Cornette; and a host of other family and friends.He was preceded in death by his father: Christopher Cornette, Sr.Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Marmaduke First Baptist Church, Marmaduke, Arkansas with Bro. Kim Bridges and Bro. Bill Muse officiating. Family will receive visitors from 1:00 p.m. until start of service time. Interment will follow at Hartsoe Cemetery, Marmaduke, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Pallbearers: Jeremy Wooldridge, Ivan Rundel, Michael Clampit, Mark Carter, Ronnie Floyd, and Dale Shelton. Honorary Pallbearers: Keith Defries and Ernest Rinks.
