Robert J Jones

Robert Jones, 92 passed away Monday, December 18, 2017 at Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born September 27, 1925 in Windermere, Florida to Richard and Annabelle Keller Jones. He was the Chief Bishop of The (Ephesus) Church of God, served in the United States Air Force and Navy during WWII and the Korean War. Survivors include; his wife; of 63 years: Drucilla Jones of the home; two sons: Kenneth Jones (Robin) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; James Jones (Gina) of Dover, Florida; one daughter: Donna Burton (Chris) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren: Kenny Jones, Jr.; Kyle Jones; Cody Jones; Chad Jones; Mitchell Wells; Jenna Adams (Cody); many nieces, nephews, church family and friends. In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by three brothers: Paul Jones, Chester Jones, Donald Jones; one sister: Helen Watson. Memorial service will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at The (Ephesus) Church of God, 5269 Arkansas 1 South, Jonesboro, Arkansas with Pastor Don Jones officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
