I studied piano under Nelda in the 1960s in Pine Bluff. I also sang in the children's choir at First Christian Church, which she directed. She was a wonderful teacher. She was an excellent musician, teaching both piano and voice. She directed Handel's Oratorio "Messiah" at First Christian for many years.
