Wallis Hodges

Wallis E. Hodges, 79, passed away on November 11, 2016 at Ridgecrest Rehabilitation in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born November 29, 1936 in Pleasant Hope, Missouri to Eugene and Mary (Jones) Hodges. Wallis grew up in Springfield, Missouri and graduated from Central High School in 1955. He was in the Air Force for a short time following high school. Wallis enjoyed golfing and played until his health would no longer allow him to play. He was an active participant in the Shrine Masons in the past. Wallis was preceded in death by Eugene and Mary Hodges, his parents; Ramona Hodges, his wife and partner; and Marc Hodges, his son. Wallis is survived by his daughter Stacy (husband-T.D.)Chamberlain of Lawrence, Kansas and his son Joe (wife-Becky) Hodges of Bennington, Nebraska; hisbrothers and sisters; John (Kathy) Hodges of Springfield, Missouri; Kenneth (Metta) Hodges Crystal River, Florida and Betty Lou Daugherty of Springfield, Missouri; hisgrandchildren Michelle and Angela;hisgreat-grandchildren Kelsey, Ava, Abigail and Harlow; and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at Faith Lutheran Church 1517 E.
