Deborah Shirley

Mrs. Deborah L. Shirley, 60, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at her home in Monette, Arkansas She was born May 20, 1956 in Leachville, Arkansas to Leon and Kathryn Beal Murphree. Mrs. Shirley worked in many factories over the years and was a line leader. She loved sewing, quilting, fishing, camping and horses. She was a very outgoing person and loved going to the Casino with her Uncle Junior Rodgers. Mrs. Shirley is survived by her mother: Kathryn Murphree of Paragould, Arkansas; husband: Terry L. Shirley, Sr. of the home; three sons: Terry Shirley, Jr. (Keyonna) of Manila, Arkansas; Robbie Shirley (Kristina) of Monette, Arkansas; Ricky Shirley (Amber) of Monette, Arkansas; one sister: Judy (Jerry) Young of Paragould, Arkansas; one brother: Rodger (Debbie) Murphree of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and one brother, who has requested not to be mentioned; eleven grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Mrs. Shirley is preceded in death by: her father, Leon Murphree; one niece: Nancy Davidson; and one nephew: Jason Young. Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016, 11:00am at The First Baptist Church in Monette, Arkansas with Bro. Marshall Metcalf officiating. Burial will be at Macey Cemetery, Monette, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday at 10:00 am until time for services. Pallbearers: Kevin Varner, Jerry Lamar, Kenny Stallings, Hunter Douglous, Shane Thompson, Jordon Hightower; Honorary Pallbearers: James Lamar, Chris Shirley, Bobby Shirley. Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas will be in charge of services.
