Gloria Jean Parker Cox

Gloria Jean Parker Cox, 62, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Ms. Cox was born on April 4, 1953 in Festus, Missouri to the late William “Tut” and Joyce Coleman Naucke. She a member of the Finch Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, watching St. Louis Cardinal ballgames, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include; five children: Jerry (Charlotte) Parker of Paragould, Arkansas; Christy (Chris) Akin of Rector, Arkansas; Kenny Myrick of Paragould, Arkansas, Vicki Huckabee of Gosnell, Arkansas, and Lana Hathworth of Paragould, Arkansas; four sisters: Sandy (Mike) Bowers of Park Hills, Missouri, Shirley (Skip) Brown of Festus, Missouri, Vicki (Scott) Ketcherside of Kennett, Missouri, and Cathy (Carroll) Lockhart of Newport, Arkansas; six brothers: Daniel (Suzette) Naucke of Park Hills, Missouri, Charlie (Theresa) Naucke of Park Hills, Missouri, Mark (Cindy) Cook of California, Mike Cook of California, Dennis (Susan) Cook of Chicago, Illinois, and Chuck (Susie) Cook of St. Louis, Missouri; eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends. Ms. Cox was preceded in death by; her parents; husbands: Winston Parker and Gary Cox; three sons: Barry, Gary, and Larry Parker; one daughter: Connie Jones-Macon; one brother: Tommy Naucke; one sister: Paula Cook; and one great-granddaughter: Joise Austin. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Finch Baptist Church with Pastor Terry Gage officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made for the funeral.
