Aubrey “Tommy” Stanley

Mr. Aubrey “Tommy” Stanley, 82, of Luxora, Arkansas, died on Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Baptist East in Memphis, Tennessee. Mr. Stanley was born on August 9, 1931 in Hayward County, Tennessee to the late David and Mattie Stanley. He was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Millington, Tennessee, loved reading the Bible and spreading the Word of God. He enjoyed working on cars, yard work, and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include: his wife: Wanda Stanley of the home; one son: Danny Stanley of Memphis, Tennessee; two daughters: Shelia Crenshaw of Little Rock, Arkansas and Linda Pelenio and husband Robert of Drummonds, Tennessee; three step-sons: Gordon Webb of Luxora, Arkansas; Jimmy Webb & Paula of Luxora, Arkansas, Jeffrey Webb and wife Darlene of Blytheville, Arkansas; daughter-in-law: Darlene Webb of Marion, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. Mr. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents; one step-son: Gregory Webb; two sisters: Ruby Warf and Evelyn Butler; three brothers: Woodrow Stanley, Preston Stanley, and George Stanley. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Ruddle Road Church of God, Blytheville, Arkansas with Bro. Danny Pankey, Bro. Jackie Woods, and Rev. Jimmy Davis officiating. Interment will be on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11:00 am at Woodhaven Cemetery, Millington, Tennessee under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Sunday at the church from 2:00 pm until service time. Pallbearers: Bryson Crenshaw, David Butler, Gordon Webb, Jeff Webb, Jonathan Gipson, and Jonathan Parker.
