Otto Eubanks

Mr. Otto Eubanks, age 80 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away November 26, 2014 at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born February 25, 1934 in Roseland, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Albert and Beulah Abernathy Eubanks and was a longtime area resident. Mr. Eubanks was a member of the 1st United Pentecostal Church in Manila and was a farmer and a mechanic and could work on anything. He enjoyed antique car collecting, old clocks, and playing and listening to gospel music. He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Donnie Harris Eubanks of the home; four sons: Keith Eubanks of Oklahoma, Kenneth Eubanks and wife Sheila of Mt. Home, Arkansas, Clinton Eubanks of Manila, Arkansas and Christopher Eubanks and Stephanie of Searcy, Arkansas; four sisters: Lorretta Canamore of Alabama, Freda Pogue of Mississippi, Flora Austin of Paragould, Arkansas and Fern Sloan of Florida. Mr. Eubanks also leaves eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: Gerald Eubanks, Amberis Eubanks, Mack Eubanks, AJ Eubanks; one sister: Ruby Imler. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 1:00pm at the 1st United Pentecostal Church in Manila, Arkansas with Bro. Robert White, Bro. James Hollingsworth, Bro. William Austin and Bro. Scott Traylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Friday, November 28, 2014 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Dylan Eubanks, Terry Harris, Nathan Harris, Gary Stone, Bradley Eubanks and Jesse Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be Marshall Harris and Joe Cox.

    Bro Otto was a sweet soul I loved to see him worship god I remember the last time I was in service with Bro Otto he was a blessing he worshipped God with his whole heart he blessed me so even in sickness he stilled praised god gone but never forgotten
