Vicki McBroome

Vickie A. McBroome, 52 of Hardy, Arkansas, died Saturday, November 17, 2012 at the Fulton County Hospital in Salem, Arkansas. Born in Rockford, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Thelma Tillman Hulsey. Mrs. McBroome was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother to five children. She and her husband were longtime Egypt and Bono residents before retiring and moving to Hardy eight years ago. The family would like for her to be remembered as having a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed meeting people, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Her faith and relationship with God was her guide and her motivation. She is survived by her husband of 34 years: Rickey McBroome of the home; one son: Rickey Joe McBroome of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; four daughters: Christina Taylor of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Amanda McBroome of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Amber Lynn Echols of Bono, Arkansas and Jessica McBroome of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Jeffrey Hulsey of Brookland, Arkansas and Mike Hulsey of Greene County, Arkansas; one sister: Connie Haynes of Greene County, Arkansas. Mrs. McBroome also leaves twelve grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McBroome was preceded in death by two sisters: Patty Hulsey and Paula Hulsey. Memorial services will be Wednesday November 21, 2012 at 1:00pm at the Freedom Center on Hasbrook Road in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Jones officiating. The family has asked for private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
