Thomas Yarbro

Thomas Alvin Yarbro, 80, of Harrisburg, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born on March 7, 1938 in Manila, Arkansas to the late Thurmond and Rachel Vastbinder Yarbro. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and playing pool.Survivors include; one daughter: Teresa Ann Hoffman of Waterford, Wisconsin; one son: Timothy Yarbro (Peggy) of Wonder Lake, Illinois; two step-sons: Scott Bolton of Paragould, Arkansas and Mark Bolt (Yvonne) of Jolliet, Illinois; one sister: Sue Breckenridge of Paragould, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by; his wife: Melva June Yarbro; two half-sisters: Nita Yarbro and Margaret Barfield; two half-brothers: James and Charles Wicker; and one step-son: Tony Bolton.Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at Eastside Baptist Church, 2103 S US Highway 61, Osceola, Arkansas with Bro. Frank Snyder officiating. A private burial will be conducted at a later date under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
