Brenda Kay Williams

Brenda Kay Williams, age 67 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born November 23, 1946 in Jonesboro, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Maxine Hale James and was a member of the Greensboro Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Williams enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles, cooking and loved watching Jeopardy and Bones. Survivors include one son: Jon Casey Cook and wife Gaby of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one daughter: Pamela Carter Chase and husband Morgan of Paragould, Arkansas; two grandsons: Dylan Wicoff of Manila, Arkansas and Nathan Carter of Paragould, Arkansas; one great-grandson: Eli Thomas Carter of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Barry James and wife Carol of Texas and Virgil James and wife Carol of California. Mrs. Williams also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Garry Williams; one son: Sgt. Jason Carter: one brother: Douglas James The family has requested private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
