Darrell Dewayne Pearson

Darrell Dewayne Pearson, 78, of Caraway, Arkansas passed away on May 9, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born on November 9, 1938 in Rector, Arkansas to the late Herman and Flora Hardin Pearson. He was a member of the Caraway United Methodist Church, enjoyed life to the fullest, fishing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include; his wife of fiftysix years: Dumetra Pearson of the home; one son: Douglas Pearson of Lepanto, Arkansas; two brothers: T. J. Pearson and Sam Pearson both of Paragould, Arkansas; two sisters: Katherine Poppe of Valmeyer, Illinois and Shirley Sneed of Springfield, Missouri; six grandchildren: Leah Brown, Starla Emery, Dustan Rea, Lyndsey Pearson, Cody Rea, and Ryan Trevathan; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.He was preceded in death by; his parents; two daughters: Darla Ann Pearson and Dena Diane Rea; and three brothers: Harold, William, and Kenneth Pearson.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. at the Caraway United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Criss and Rev. Linda Brewer officiating.
