Dorothy Utley

Dorothy Utley, 84 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Gladys Nettles of Monette, Arkansas. Dorothy was born and raised in Monette and lived her entire adult life in Jonesboro and was retired bookkeeper. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Gladys Nettles of Monette; two brothers: Dale and Lewis Nettles; three sisters; Rita Setzer, Violet Wilson and Thelma Rowe. Also preceding her in death, one son: Danny Ring, Sr. and one great-grandson, Alex Watts both Lowell, Arkansas. She is survived by one son: Michael Ring of Star City, Arkansas; two sisters: Reba Haynes and Bill of Trumann, Arkansas, Doris Bibb of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother: Wayne Nettles and Laura of Gainesville, Texas; one daughter-in-law: Sandra Ring of Lowell, Arkansas; one brother-in-law: Delbert Setzer of St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs. Utley also leaves four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family requested private burial under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
