Crystal Rhea Carter

Mrs. Crystal Farnsworth Carter, 40, of Plain Dealing, Louisiana (formerly of Bay, Arkansas, died on May 6, 2016. She was born on October 7, 1975 in Searcy, Arkansas to Lee and Margaret Farnsworth. She was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Benton, Louisiana, a devoted wife, loved her family unconditionally, always had a listening ear for her friends and family,was an avid Star Trek and Elvis fan, and enjoyed fishing.Survivors include; her of husband of 19 years: Joel Carter of the home; her cherished cats; her parents: Lee and Margaret Farnsworth of Bay, Arkansas; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: John and Louise Carter, Sr. of Plain Dealing, Louisiana; one brother: Phillip Farnsworth (Sharon) of Bay, Arkansas; two nieces: Cheyenne Farnsworth of Paragould, Arkansas and Terra McElyea in Bay, Arkansas; one nephew: Trey Carter of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two great nieces: Kyla and Kaitlyn; one great nephew: Asher; and a host of other family and friends.She is preceded in death by; grandparents: Bill and Virgie Collins and Lowell and Louise Farnsworth.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Woods Chapel General Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Hathcoat officiating. Burial will follow at Bowman cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors at the church on Wednesday from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. Pallbearers: Donnie England, Dwight England, Tony Beck, Billy Rutherford, Billy Collins, and Chris Bolles. Honorary pallbearers: John Carter, Jr. and Trey Carter.
