Bessie Louise Bennett

Mrs. Bessie Louise Bennett, age 73 of Arbyrd, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her home. She was born August 27, 1942 in Marked Tree, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late Virgil and Claire Ellen Dean Lewis. Mrs. Bennett enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and looking for marbles and Indian arrowheads. She is survived by five sons: James Bennett and wife Sandy of Kennett, Missouri, Mike Bennett of Senath, Missouri, Walter Bennett, Jr. and wife Leslie of Hornersville, Missouri, David Bennett of Arbyrd, Missouri and Carl Shea of Copper Canon, Texas; two daughters: Judy Bird of Senath, Missouri and Christina Bennett of Kennett, Missouri. Mrs. Bennett also leaves four brothers, three sisters, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Walter Bennett, Sr.; one grandson: Jesse Bennett and one sister. The family has requested private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
