Mary Elizabeth Gaskins

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Gaskins, age 66 of Wardell, Missouri, passed away on May 23, 2016 at her home. She was born July 22, 1949 in Bragg City, Missouri to the late William Laden and Bertha Merriam Laden and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed reading, and flying to Florida to see her great-grandbabies and face timing them every chance she got. She also enjoyed eating Chinese, going out and about with her childhood best friend Ellen, listening to Motown and old rock n roll music, watching movies and she loved her dog Grissom. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Rudd and husband Kenny of Wardell, Missouri; one son: Justin Don (J.D.) Gaskins and girlfriend Stephanie Sutton of Wardell, Missouri; one brother: Jess Laden and wife Jean of Kennett, Missouri; one sister: Glenda Davidson and husband Dewayne of Dexter, Missouri; four grandchildren: Jordan Rudd and wife Ann-Mari of Palm Coast, Florida, Lacey Rudd of Kennett, Missouri and Tyler Tidwell of Wardell, Missouri; and one granddaughter on the way; two great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Rudd and Sophia Rudd of Palm Coast, Florida. Mrs. Gaskins also leaves a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald “Frosty” Gaskins; a son: Gregory Wayne Gaskins; two brothers: William Edward Laden and Dwight Franklin Laden and two sisters: Rosetta Laden and Leoma Laden Robinson. Memorial services will be Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00p.m. at the Wardell Baptist Church with Hubert Robinson officiating under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
