Douglas Dearen

Mr. Douglas Wayne Dearen, age 61 of Caruthersville, Missouri, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at his home. Born March 25, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late James and Pearl Morgan Dearen. Mr. Dearen was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Dearen of the home; two sons: Erbie Dearen of Manila, Arkansas and Douglas Dearen of Caraway, Arkansas; two daughters: Angie Dearen of Manila, Arkansas, Candy Lomax and husband Wayne of Manila, Arkansas; two sisters: Regina Parsons and husband Thomas of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Vivian McCalob of Martin, Tennessee. Mr. Dearen also leaves seven grandsons, one granddaughter and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: J.L. Dearen, Kenneth Dearen, Richard Dearen and Danny Dearen; two grandchildren: Brittni Lomax and Casey Lomax. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 1:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Manila with Bro. Mac McCalob officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 10:00am until 12:00pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Douglas Dearen, Wayne Lomax, Kenny Dearen and Darrel McCammon.
