Lewis Jones

Mr. Lewis Jones, 59, of Paragould, Arkansas died on May 3, 2013 at his home after a brave battle with cancer. Mr. Jones was born on April 9, 1954 in DeKalb, Illinois to the late Lewis William Collier and Oma Blackwell Jones. Mr. Jones was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed scavenger hunting, buying and selling on Ebay, and fishing. Survivors include; his wife: Mary Jones of Paragould, Arkansas; four daughters: April Butler and husband Buddy of Kingsport, Tennessee, Tiffany Jones of Paragould, Arkansas, Lacy Davis of Paragould, Arkansas, and Amanda Mears of Paragould, Arkansas; one son: Chad Franklin and wife Dannyelle of Paragould, Arkansas; three brothers: Lewis Collier, Ed Collier, and Keith Collier; four sisters: Alice Setser, Margaret Edgar, Jessie Collier, and Mary Ann West; fifteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters: Misty Jones and Rebecca Jones Moore.Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 8:00 pm at the First Church of God on the corner of 6 ½ Street and Locust Street, Paragould, Arkansas with Rev. Buddy Butler officiating. The family request private disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors on Monday at the church from 6:00 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers please make donations for the funeral. Pallbearers include: Eric Haneline, Dennis Beavers, Scott Brown, and Lenny Edgar.
