James Lacey

Mr. James Leonard Lacey, 81, of Monette, Arkansas, passed away on April 30, 2015 at Jonesboro Healthcare. Mr. Lacey was born on November 20, 1933 in Boydsville, Arkansas to the late Benton and Artie Lacey.Survivors include: his wife: Wanda Lacey of the home; one step-son: Michael Harris and wife Angela of Ft. Gibson, Oklahoma; three step-daughters: Lisa Welch and husband Ty of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Rosa Schill and husband Bill of Memphis, Tennessee, and Annette Dwyer and husband Thom of Houston, Texas; one sister: Geneva Masters of Detroit, Michigan; several grandchildren; and a host of other friends and family.Mr. Lacey was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Ruth Lacey O'Bryant.Memorial services will be held May 16, 2015 at 11:00 am at Wanda Lacey's home under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.

    I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Mr. Lacey. I imagine he was an amazing man. I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. One Scripture that gives me hope is Job 14:14, 15, which says, "If a man dies, can he live again? You will call, and I will answer you. You will long for the work of your hands." I hope that this verse will also comfort you and, I hope you and your family can get through this difficult time. Please accept my condolences for the loss of your beloved husband. Sincerely, Meryl
