Dale Allen Long

Mr. Dale Allen Long, 73, of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Ridgecrest Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Harold Edward and Virginia Marie Worden Long.He served his country in the United States Navy, enjoyed Nascar, fishing, barbecuing and the Chicago Bears. Survivors include; two sons: Harold Charles Long of Phoenix, AZ and David Allen Long; stepson: Bobby Garrison of Jonesboro; stepdaughter: Vanessa Rodney of Jonesboro; one brother: Frank Long; three sisters: Nancy Long of Kentucky, Georgia Marr of Arizona and Beverly Elliot of Kalamazoo, Michigan; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Carol Sue Long.Memorial service will be held at the VFW of Jonesboro, Arkansas on Thursday, March 15,2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Vonda Keasler officiating.
