Matthew May

Matthew Lee May, age 36 of Hernando, Mississippi, passed away February 26, 2015, at the Baptist Hospital in Mississippi. Born February 14, 1979 in Memphis, Tennessee he was the son of Jim and Theresa Nurse May and enjoyed working on computers, was a mechanic and loved to draw. In the words of Michael “Pray for me and ask God to keep their hands steady as they harvest my organs. I pray that this donation will help a lot of people. May God bless you and please pray for my family.” He is survived by his wife “the love of his life”: Bobbie Michelle May of Hernando, Mississippi; sons: Cory May, age 18, of Memphis, Tennessee, Matthew Lee May, Jr., age 4, of Hernando, Mississippi; daughter: Paige Marie May, age 5, of Hernando, Mississippi step-daughter: Nicole Hayes of Sikeston, Missouri; mother and step-father: Theresa and Mike Berryman of Hernando, Mississippi; brothers: Steven Berryman of Hernando, Mississippi and Michael Nurse of Memphis, Tennessee; step-brothers: Brandon Berryman and Jason Berryman both of Memphis, Tennessee; grandparents: Frank and Marie Nurse of Memphis, Tennessee and L.H. and Beverly Berryman of Hernando, Mississippi. Mr. May also leaves a host of other family and friends. Mr. May was preceded in death by his father: Jim May. The family has requested a private service and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas.
