Robert Guy Batterton, Jr.

Robert Guy Batterton, Jr., 62 of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born October 3, 1955 in Ashdown, Arkansas to Robert Guy and Beulah Christian Batterton. Survivors include; one son: Robbie Batterton of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; one daughter: Brandy Courtney of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; three grandchildren, who were very important to him: Lilly, Lacie, and Layton Christian; one sister: Brenda Devor (Harmon) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; one brother: Bill Batterton (Carol) of Yellville, Arkansas, and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by; one brother: Jim Batterton; four sisters: Dorothy Jean Batterton, Pat Bradley, Judy Manning, and Linda Jones. The family will have a graveside memorial service at Lawrence Memorial Gardens in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas that will be announced at a later date.
