Hi Jimmy: Thinking of you on this day and remembering your passing two years ago this day on the 24th of June 2018. I'm sorry you had to go so soon. For us, it's always been six, and now, there is a gap with the remaining five. It feels strange and odd and your physical presence is very much missed, although, in my heart, you're still around and about us, just in a different spacial sense. I know you come and go upon the necessities required of you on your side of the veil. I imagine you're able to accomplish more from where you are now without the confines of the physical weighing on you and I hope you have peace and that all is well with you. I want to Thank You for the Hummingbirds, they are very special to me and Gina. Please say Hi to Dad and the Uncles, Grandparents and the rest, and I ask you all, along with the Big Spirits (Angels) and The Great Spirit, to watch over our S.O.T. Brothers to help them on their path. I love you and God Bless you all, and May The Force Be With Us All, all the days of our lives. With peace and love always, your sister Patty

This is James Amick. I haven't seen him since we were young. James passed away last Sunday from an illness. I found this out today via a FB share and I began to cry. Here's why: James was a close childhood friend who lived in Las Lomas with his family. We grew up together, went to Hall District Elementary School with each other along with a tight knit group of others but most importantly, he was one of my "protectors". He was small in stature but he was strong in mind, body and soul. He literally protected me from the bullies who would make fun of me every day. He stood up for me when kids would make fun of my weight, would stand between me and those that would physically hurt me and call me terrible names but, most of all, he was nice and kind to me just because. That's what friends do! He was tough as nails but was the sweetest and funniest kid you'd ever want to know. I hope he's resting in heaven and can now find peace without pain. I will always remember James along with my other "protector", Tony Azevedo, as two of the most wonderful human beings that I was fortunate to have in my young life. Thank you James. I was blessed to know you and will always remember you
