Burl Lynn Smith, 66 of Monette, Arkansas passed away at his home Saturday, April 14,2018.He was born August 31, 1951 to Grady Andrew and Betty M. Young Smith in Dyess, Arkansas.Mr. Smith served his country in the United States Army, was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.Survivors include his wife: Linda Smith of 28 years; three daughters: Tracy Cookson (Jerry) of Farmington, Arkansas, Pamela Smith of Paragould, Arkansas, Nikki Lasater (Allan) of Leachville, Arkansas; four sons: Burl Lynn Smith, Jr. (Patricia) of Turrell, Arkansas, Jeffrey Smith of Keiser, Arkansas, Scott Smith (Amy) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Jonathan Atkinson (Holli) of Lake City, Arkansas; two brothers: Don Smith (Nancy) of Osceola, Arkansas, Millard Smith (Diane) of Osceola, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren: Savannah Cookson, Liam Cookson, Hunter Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Jeremy Smith, Lauren Smith, Elizabeth Montague, Katelynn Smith, Connor Smith, Taylor Atkinson, Shelby Atkinson, Emalynn Smith, Hannah Lasater, Natalie Lasater and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.at the Harvest Fellowship Church in Manila, Arkansas with Pastor Scott Rollie officiating. Interment will be at Monette Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church Monday, April 16, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Doyle Finley, Michael Hembrey, Billy Wells, Billy Nettles, Chris Nettles, Gene Nettles; Honorary pallbearers: Adam Wells, Allan Lasater, Alan Austin, Glen Pennington.
