Ivon Soden

Ivon Soden, 88 of Jonesboro, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center, Jonesboro. She was born August 6, 1929 in Uno, Arkansas to H.D. and Ruth Fortenberry Soden. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Jonesboro, loved reading, graduated high school at the age of fifteen, went to work in Washington at the age of sixteen, and retired from the FBI. Survivors include, three sisters: Peggy Gray of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Kathy Turner (Roy Dean), and Ruthann Soden both of Tuckerman, Arkansas; sister-in-law: Loretta Soden of Tuckerman, Arkansas; Nephews: Jack Gray, Randy Turner, Bill, Mike, Chad, and Ken Soden; nieces: Kathryn Weaver, Kristina James, Karla Robb; several great nieces and great nephews; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Buzz Soden.Arrangements were under the direction of Faith Funeral Service, Manila, Arkansas.
