Emma Bartelt Jaggers

Emma (Sis) Almedia Bartelt Jaggers, 46, of Jonesboro passed away on June 6, 2017 at her home. She was born on October 14, 1970 in Jonesboro to Junior Woodrow and Joyce Ann Arrington Roberts. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She worked at St. Elizabeth’s Place as the activities director and enjoyed doing arts and crafts, Bible study and other activities with the residents. She loved her job and looked forward to going every day prior to being diagnosed with cancer. She enjoyed spending time with her family and hosting family gatherings and celebrating every milestone and special occasion and taking care of her grandchildren.She is survived by; her husband: Bobby Jaggers of the home; two sons: Dilan Bartelt and Dakota Jaggers of Jonesboro; one daughter: Amy (J.L.) Poyner of Bono; one step-son: Rollins Jaggers of Jonesboro; three step-daughters: Ashley (Marcus) Watson of Aurora, Colorado, Audria Jaggers of Seattle, Washington, and Meagan Jaggers of Jonesboro; six grandchildren: Gracie Bartelt of Jonesboro, Jeven, Jaron, Jaxon, Adlyn and Jaden Poyner all of Bono; three step-grandchildren: Marley and Markese Watson of Aurora, Colorado, and Kasen Jaggers of Jonesboro; her mother: Joyce A. Roberts of Bono; one brother: Ernie (Deanna) Roberts of Jonesboro; one sister: Maxine Pruitt of Jonesboro; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.She was preceded in death by her father: Junior Woodrow Roberts.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Wynndel King officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Saturday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Pallbearers: Dilan Bartelt, Dakota Jaggers, Justin Pruitt, Ernie, Dalton and Mason Roberts.
