Lester Van Horn, Sr.

Lester Lionel Van Horn, Sr., 73, of Monette, Arkansas passed away on June 19, 2017 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born on February 8, 1944 in Palmyra, New York to the late Herbert and Elaine Madison Van Horn. He enjoyed playing cards, pool, spending time with family, and watching TV, especially wrestling.Survivors include; his wife: Donna Van Horn of the home; one sister: Carol Mitchum of Florida; two sons: James Van Horn of New Jersey and Lester “Thumper” of the home; four daughters: Darlene Van Horn of Oklahoma, Gail Van Horn of Florida, Elaine Jackson of Florida, and Linda Otero of Florida; seventeen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.He was preceded in death by; his parents; and one daughter: Dawn Marie Van Horn.The family request private services and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
