Barbara Sue Betts

Barbara Sue Betts, 71, of Vanndale, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Forrest City Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1945 in Pumpkin Bend, Arkansas to the late Lee and Inez Pegg. She was of the Baptist faith and worked at Addison Shoe Factory for seventeen years before owning Vanndale Food Center. She was a really hard worker, enjoyed mowing grass, taking care of rental properties, dancing, having fun, and spending time with family and friends.Survivors include: two sons: Paul Betts, Jr. (Amanda) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Timothy Betts of Vanndale, Arkansas; one sister: Katie Aycock of McCrory, Arkansas; grandchildren: T.J., Traci, Kyle Butler, Tanner Butler, Paul III, Parker, Peyton, and Bristol; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Rushing.Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Three Trees Cowboy Church in Wynne, Arkansas with Bro. Tracy Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Vanndale Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Friday at the church from 12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers: Bo Crumley, T.J. Betts, Kyle Butler, Donell Hill, Brian Andrews, and Billy Don Tucker.
