Mary Faye Haynes

Mary Faye Haynes, age 65 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born January 5, 1951 in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Avis Prince Hoots, Sr. and was a member of the Ephesus Church of God. Mrs. Haynes enjoyed going to flea markets, video games and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Roy Lee Haynes, Sr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one son: Roy Lee Haynes, Jr. (Faye) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two daughters: Lucinda “Cindy” Wilson (Jim) of Bono, Arkansas and Betty Jo Hulsey (Mike) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Leroy Hoots, Sr. of Hickory Ridge, Arkansas and Harold Hoots, Jr. of Jonesboro, Arkansas; five sisters: Juanita Odom, Onita Tate, Betty Cansler all of Harrisburg, Arkansas, Connie Brewer of Bono, Arkansas and Nancy Edman of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mrs. Haynes also leaves seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Paul Hoots. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00am at the Ephesus Church of God in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Bro. Leroy Hoots, Jr. and Bro. Dean Holbrook officiating. Burial will follow in the Crossroads Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Monday, June 27, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Jay Wilson, Eric Wilson, David Hoots, James Talton, Jason Guntharp and Canaan Weaver.
