Henry Blake

Mr. Henry Blake, age 35 of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Sunday, June 10, 2012 at his home. Born July 9, 1976 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was the son of Jerome and Lucy Cross Blake. Mr. Blake enjoyed singing, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his mother: Lucy Mae Blake of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sons: Henry Blake, Jr. and Tevotis Blake both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four daughters: Keishayla Blake, Jasmine Nicole Blake, Kayla Collins and Symone Blake all of Jonesboro, Arkansas; one step-daughter: Aajah McCullough of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two brothers: Jerome Blake, Jr. of Jacksonville, Arkansas and Dannie Blake of Sunset, Arkansas; one sister: Pamela Blake of Chicago, Illinois; two aunts: Hester Barker and husband Watson of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Ellen Cox of Gilmore, Arkansas. Mr. Blake also leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Blake was preceded in death by his father: Jerome Blake and his grandmother: Lucille Cox. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the New Mt. Zion Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas with Rev. Ray Scales officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Marked Tree, Arkansas under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 1:00 until time of service at the church.
