H Leon Jones

Mr. H. Leon Jones, 68, of Black Rock, Arkansas died on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at his home after a brave battle with cancer. Mr. Jones was born on February 4, 1944 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to the late James and Lelia Jones. Mr. Jones was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Ozark Acres, Arkansas, a Baptist Minister and a truck driver. He loved going to church and hanging out with his family and friends. Survivors include: his wife of 48 years: Brenda Jones; three sons: Blake Jones and wife Dottie of Ravenden, Arkansas, Tracy Jones of Ravenden, Arkansas and Matthew Jones and wife Jamie of Memphis, Tennessee; three daughters: Kim Moore and husband Rick of Ravenden, Arkansas, Sheila Bean of Pocahontas, Arkansas and Andrea Delgadillo of Pocahontas, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Brock Wheeler, Dustin Street, Ashley Street, Cassie Street, Trista Jones, Hunter Delgadillo and Emily Manning; two brothers: Eddie Jones and wife Barbara of Ravenden, Arkansas and Bill Jones and wife Wanda of Imboden, Arkansas; three sisters: Betty Weiss of Imboden, Arkansas, Phyllis Blackshire and husband Bob of Jerusalem, Arkansas and Margaret Matthew and husband Davis of Imboden; one sister-in-law: Evelyn Jones, and a host of other family and friends. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers Junior Jones and W. H. Jones. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Annieville, Arkansas with Rev. Jerry Clements and Rev. Jackie Pickett officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 12:00 noon until service time under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. Pallbearers: Jim Estelle, Johnny Jones, Jerry Jones, Harold Brown, Cory Matthews and Creston Hutton. Honorary pallbearers: James Moore, Donald Sanders, Bill Johnston, Larry DePriest, Steve Smith, Dave Martin, David Jones and Dee Holder.
