William Austin

William Alvis Austin, 81, of Paragould, Arkansas passed away on July 27, 2018 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on March 20, 1937 in Corinth, Mississippi to the late Alfred and Willie Mae Hatley Austin. He was a Pentecostal minister for 65 years and enjoyed reading and fishing.Survivors include; his wife Flora Madge Austin of the home; one daughter: Brenda Johnson (Dale) of Mobile, Alabama; one brother: Bobby Austin (Delores) of Leachville, Arkansas; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by ; one son: Dennis Austin; one brother: James Austin; and one sister: Ruby Davis. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Manila United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Franklin Buchannan, II officiating. Burial will follow at the Leachville Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
