Steven Shawn Martin

Steven Shawn Martin, 47, of Brookland, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on November 29, 1969 in Porterville, California to Jerry and Laverne Akin Martin. He was a member of the Paragould Church of God, enjoyed working on cars, playing softball and baseball, and playing music.Survivors include; his parents: Jerry and Laverne Martin of the home; three sons: Gage Martin of Agency, Iowa, Zackary Martin of Moulton, Iowa, and Caleb Martin of Moulton, Iowa; one daughter: Ashlyn Martin of Brookland, Arkansas; two brothers: Michael (Janelle) of Porterville, California and Darrell Martin (Angie) of Brookland, Arkansas; two sisters: Kimberly Patton (Tim) of Montana and Krystal Castaneda (Jesse) of Ada, Oklahoma; one grandchild on the way; and a host of other family and friends.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Paragould Church of God with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Log Cemetery under the direction of Faith Funeral Service. The family will receive visitors on Monday at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
