Arthur Cambron

Arthur Eugene Cambron, age 67 of Lake City, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at the St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Born December 23, 1949 in Monette, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Arthur and Gretha Mize Cambron and was a member of the Lunsford Baptist Church. Mr. Cambron proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and doing yardwork. Mr. Cambron was a devoted family man and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters. He is survived by his wife: Kathryn Cambron of the home: one daughter: Kristi Jones and Nick of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four brothers: Mark Cambron and Marla of Paragould, Arkansas, Jerry Cambron and Nadine of Lake City, Arkansas, Walter Cambron and Elizabeth of Ravenden, Arkansas, and Nathan Cambron and Roxanne of Hampton, Arkansas; four sisters: Joni Barker and Bob, Bonnie Davis and Herb all of Lake City, Arkansas, Pat Ridenhour of Waldron, Arkansas and Kay Byard and Steve of Branson, Missouri. Mr. Cambron also leaves two grandchildren: Keely Kelems and Sydney Kelems; and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons: Jonathan and Stephen Cambron. Funeral Services will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at 2:00pm at the Lunsford Baptist Church in Lunsford, Arkansas with Rev. Ron Langston officiating. Burial will follow in the Nettleton Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors Friday, April 7, 2017 from12:00pm until time of service at the church. Pallbearers will be: Terry Short, Pete Porterfield, William Tompkins, Donnie Hutcheson, Don Wisdom and Bradley Wisdom. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jim Ladd, David Halfacre and Barry Vincent.
