Betty Jean Moody

Mrs. Betty Jean Moody departed this life to be with Jesus on Friday July 3, 2015 at the age of 77 years 4 months and 10 days, at the family residence. Mrs. Moody was of the Pentecostal faith and enjoyed fishing, playing bingo, talking with friends, watching the Wheel of Fortune and always enjoyed being around her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlton Fleming and Hazel Jewel Fleming, her husband Bobby Reece Moody, one grandson James Robert Hulsey, Jr., four brothers and three sisters.She is survived by 3 daughters of Truman: Teresa Mincy, Deborah Jones and Tammy Fletcher and husband Terry; one son: Michael Moody of Trumann, Arkansas; 3 sisters: Peggy Blair of Texas, Judy Thomas of Texas and Brenda Chisholm of Mississipi; one brother: Jerry Fleming of Mississippi. She was blessed by many grandchildren, Keith Mincy and wife April, Kelsey Mincy, Scotty Jones and wife Sara, David Williams, Jessie Reece Henery Jones, Harley Moody, Hailey Moody, Chance Moody, JR Coker, Candice Coker, Crystal Hatcher, and a blessing of 18 greatgrandkids.Active pallbearers are: Jim Mincy, Jhon Mincy, Rickey Speaks, David Cowser, Chris Lawless and Dale Taber. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jessie Jones, Harley Moody, Wayne Harmon, Scotty Jones, Scout Mincy, Dee Crockett, and all of her granddaughters, grandsons, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Services will be Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 2:00pm the 1st Assembly of God in Trumann with Bro. Kenneth Doke officiating and Bro. Keith Mincy reading obituary. Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2015 from 6 until 8 at the church with Faith Funeral Service of Manila, Arkansas in charge of arrangements. The family has requested a private burial.
