Bobby Wayne Slankerd

Mr. Bobby Wayne Slankerd, age 65 of Manila, Arkansas, passed away July 6, 2015 at Advanced Care in Searcy, Arkansas. Born August 28, 1949 in Keiser, Arkansas, he was the son of the late Charlie and Mildred Curtis Slankerd. He is survived by his children: Sharon Moody and husband Carlos of Mr. View, Arkansas, Bobby Slankerd and wife Christina of Caraway, Arkansas and Petey Slankerd of Manila, Arkansas; sisters: Mary Carmichael and Dorothy Blake both of Manila, Arkansas. He also leaves several grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. In addition to his parents, Mr. Slankerd was preceded in death by a sister: Mildred Gipson. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila, Arkansas. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery.
